In Response To: Fiberglass Exhaust Question (Capt. Dave Kosh)

Dave, I'd just change it since after an exhaust leak starts, all the oily crud in the diesel exhaust just impregnates the glass and you are pissin' in the breeze trying to fix it. I had one of my big Veritone fiberglass mufflers spring a leak and repairs were just a band-aid. Finally just got a new one and all is well. Oil and fiberglass are not close friends.
