One note on PVC...
Many of the standard automotive type conduit (Black lume, etc) will burn and will drip little balls of fire onto what ever is below them. They make a grey loom that is fire resistant and not much more expensive. It also looks good and protects what is inside. You can go to Home Depot and get the blue plastic flexible wire conduit that works about the same. It's very cheap, but I don't know how it will hold up in the marine world.I'd just be worried that standard PVC would burn faster then then anything you put inside it.
