I've owned 3 Isuzu Diesel's but the automotive ones! Infact my one 83 Isuzu Diesel I sold at 270,000+miles is a Taxi Cab now in Honduras and still running. My friend fished on one with twin 235 and it ran like a bear. Never any engine problems just cockpit error once with his fuel going into the bilge after after botched repair of the boat. Man I loved mine. The only probem I had is when those engines are 10 years old internal engineparts come from Japan a lot of times and it takes 2 months to get them. So that is the only caution I would give you. They are great performing and reliable engines however.
