Big problems with my new 50

We ran the 50 on Thursday & ran into a BIG problem. STBD side 8v92 got very hot suddenly. We checked the coolant and found it was empty. We dumped 7 gallons of anti freeze in & put a hose in the tank. A minute or so later, I had a bad feeling & pulled the dip stick........WATER.
PENN Detroit diesel came out & said they will be back on Tuesday. He said likely cause is a head gasket (seals), cracked head etc... It will take up to a week to fix it depending on what is broken.
What a crappy way to start.
