Mack,
I had a trans cooler burst @ 25 knts on LI sound.
We only knew when the trans started to slip and the engine revved oddly. We immediately put oil in it (which cooled it back down).The trans got hot enough to burn the paint on the outside. The trans is still working fine nearly two years later. Put Crows Nest in yesterday- the new dripless shaft seals are truly drip free from the moment she went into the water.
