Walter, the Mercruiser manual says for the 165 with IC outdrive (the original outdrive, can't find the drive ratio) 19'-21' boat, 15"x 21 or 15.25" x 21". RPM range 3900-4300, speed range 37-43 mph. The old part numbers are B-48-58424A1 or B-48-49634A1. Don't know what those numbers convert to today.
