Like Walter, my Cummins also have the hose from the oil pan drain but it is just wire-tied to the engine mounts and when changing I merely cut plastic wire ties, remove brass plug from end of hose, screw on pump suction side with proper brass fitting (110v pump with garden hose connections on pump -paid $85 for pump) put discharge end into 5 gal red plastic fuel can and pump away, less than 5 minutes its empty and 5 gal can now has 4 gals of oil in it and you can close it tight for disposal later . I keep pump on board for a crash pump too. Pump will throw water 20 feet . I use pump for cleaning out my raw water strainers as well. UV's got a 110v pump that will suck the crome off a trailer hitch.
