Stripping the bottom

Okay guys, I started working on the bottom yesterday with the Interlux bottom stripping goop. First, that stuff is expensive and looks just like 5F5 which is alot cheaper. Does anyone know if there is a stripper that will remove the 1/8" of old paint in one application. (Dreaming right?)
After 2 hours I managed to get to see about a 30" X 30" square of white gel coat(with noticable blistering by the way). I'm thinking that the old 36 grit Porter Cable R/O with vacuum is the way to go. Less money and faster I think. Don't worry, I'm very good with that thing and won't hit the gel coat.
I'm determined to strip this thing but with all the other stuff on my plate I don't want to waste valuable time doing it the wrong way! I'm praying for some great advice here. I took 30 years of bottom paint off my Mako last season no problem. The B31 is quite a bit more to deal with. Thanks!
