Sean,
The tip of a few Buds has long aided many of person in tackeling new projects. Some with good results, some not so good.

The most famous being "hold my beer and watch this", right before the crash.

While I've got the advantage of watching Pat spin his magic with glass and asking questions,
I've gotten to the point where my own glass work is not bad and holds together well.

It all started with a little practice and lots of wasted materials.

Don't give up on yourself. Start off with something easy and work your way up.
