If you're worried about your mounts, one easy way to find out if they're loose is to watch (or have someone watch) the engine while you shift the boat into reverse and give it some throttle while your have forward momentum. Then reverse the procedure, while boat is moving astern shift into forward and give it some gas. If the mounts are broken it should be easy to see the engine move during one of those operations
