WOW! I guess I did find the right spot!
I'll be keeping the 50 in Riverside CT in the summer & Stuart FL in the winter. Yes, the 32v system has been a challenge! I hope to get the right weather to be outside the whole way as Patrick has suggested. Though I have a 100 ton license & have been around boats all my life (I'm 40 now), for some reason I have a few "butterflies" thinking about the Gulf crossing. Then again, I have been running my 42' Post up and down the East coast for years & you may have heard about how they handle in the nasty stuff (major "pucker" factor when offshore & running hairy inlets. I'm sure once I'm behind the wheel of the 50 Bert, I'll be just fine. I've only run it on the river (Ohio) where I bought it.
Thanks for all of your info & I'm sure I am going to be here alot!
Dave
