On my FBC no angle aluminum was present. I just put a new bulkhead in Jan 2005 as per Patrick's instructions. Mine was 3/4" and I just cut all bad wood out . Put new wood in with epoxy. Then I installed a new laminated 1/2" Marine Ply bulkhead again using epoxy. Thickened to affix the laminate after a thin regular coat was applied withing 2 hours installing the laminated. The thickened epoxy was applied using a trial. On the rear side I used thinned epoxy then regular within 3 hours with # 6 fibergalss cloth(kind that disappears after epxoy is applied). It was then affixed with DL Polyurathane construction adhesive with SS sheet metal screws bedded with 5200. Looks great despite my two goof-ups.I believe on the FBC almost no structial support is supplied by the bulkheaad. I think like 10% . Some support but not much. Good luck. Dave K
