Exhaust Review

I,m getting close to finishing the new exhaust system for my 300 Yanmars.

So far I have the 5 in.Glass pipes run outsie the outboard stringers. The are double 45'd befor reaching the transom and tie into heavy SS thru transom flanged tips.
1st question)I have both black rubber bellows and 5in. exhaust hose,I'm leaning towards the hose. Its very substancial and should not be a problem to install.WHAT do you think?

The Glass pipe goes forward to within 3in. of the bulkhead and will be capped.
On the PORT side I have a 4 in.stub ready to install on a 45 dg. horizontal to match the crossover fromthe engine.

2 nd. question)On the engine elbow will be a BLUE bellows, then from there down and around will be a fabricated piece (316L-1/8 thk ,TIG welded)that joins up to the Glass stub thru a bellows or Exhaust hose.I'm favoring the hose because of rigidity(alignment).
Am I OK,or should I rethink the design? I can't get any more Glass pipe right now.

The Starbord side will be similar in concept but different in configuration.

Hope that wasn't to boring, thanks for comments,

Bill M
