Metrick Shaft Nuts

I finally figured out my shaft nuts. They are 24mm x 2.0 metrick on what I think is 1 3/8" shaft or the metrick equivilant. I am checking my sources for these nuts in stainless or bronze. I'm wondering if the props and shafts have the standard taper or I might have a problem when the time comes if I have to replace a prop.
