Dave, The support for the deck which is attached to the stringer is an 1" or so lower then the height of the muffler.
Last night as I looked quickly I couldn't see where the deck would meet the stinger support, thats till I looked thru a few of the pics I took and saw the decking had ribs underneath which would have laid on the stringer supports. Couldn't find them last night since they just fell apart when I took the floor out of the boat. The pics I forgot I even took them, just stumble across them a few minutes ago when looking for somthing else. My mind is mush these days, its like 10lbs of cr%#%!p in a 5lb bag, just mush.

Thanks, for the help. Even though I saw the pics I still had doubt.
