While the Odyssey batteries specs. are impressive for deep cycle (house batteries) I think the lead acid batteries still have the edge. Interstate's 4D starting/deep cycle battery has 390 minutes of reserve capacity, Their 8D has 455 minutes. The Odyssey has a reserve capacity of 185 minutes. Reserve capacity ratings are how long a battery can carry a 25 amp load and maintain a voltage above 10.5 volts. If the odyssey was available in a 4D or 8D size it might be different story.
