Chiles: We installed a shoot thru last year in a Scarab Sport that shoots thru the mineral oil and it didn't work well until we had the guys from Marine Electronics of Deltaville look at it. They threw away the cup to hold the mineral oil and epoxied the transducer directly to the hull. I know that Fountain does this as well. Be careful in mixing the epoxy so that you don't get any bubbles in it. This solved all of our problems. I am going to install two in my B31 this was in a few weeks. Rawleigh
