What do you expect from a state that elected Schumer, Clinton and Mario Cuomo? With Mario's spawn of Satan son Andrew, and Kalis' Diane Feinstein, you have just completed the poster children for retro-active abortion.While central and upstate NY are as different as nite and day with the city, the city and surrounding burbs have the political clout.
The same goes for PA with Pittsburg and the city.The law has been a long time coming about for a few reasons.
1. Long time activism in voting out the politicians that vote for stupid laws.
2. Bush being governator.
3. Marion Hammer's behind the scenes push and lobbying for the NRA.There were no Na votes, it was a clean sweep.
The maggots down here have an idea who pays their salaries now but it’s been alot of hard work.
The southern folk have a minor advantage over the Yankee transplants or as we like to refer to them as "northern aggressors” in south Florida right now.Tyrants succeed when good men do nothing................
