I have a replacement cap for my sea water strainers that has a hose fitting with a shut-off on top that I use for winterizing. I close my sea water intake, connect a host to the fitting, put it in a bucket of anti-freeze and run the engine until it runs out of the exhaust. Wouldn't that be a way to run muriatic acid or a de-scaler through the salt water side of my cooling system? Or would it damage something I don't know about. Walter
