Martin,

Actually, it ain't a true B31... It's an Italian Riva based on the B31 design and sanctioned by Bertram when they were playing with European manufacturing. It's the same hull as the one that Lee Dana modified with the two offset Yanmars.

I viewed the one that Lee did last March at the Palm Beach Boat Show. Other than being impressed by the engineering feat of cramming two 300 HP diesels into a 9 1/2' beam, it was in the final analysis just another Riva trying to masquerade as a Bertram 31.
