You've seen my boat, when I put the poly rail on when it came to the bow and transom corners we used a heat gun. Screw down the poly to just before the corners, put gloves on, start heating just before the curve slowly working around with a piece of wood for forming not hitting and keep heating beyond the corner just so there will be no puckers. Now don't worry about burning with a heat gun, it may discolor a little bit, but 320 grit wet sandpaper and a buffer with compound makes it all good again.
Mitch call me I've done it and have more tips. Steam process the rail would cool before you got it in place and screwed.
