I made a template first. If you can trace your broken one, great. Mine was shattered so I had to start from scratch. Then I made a temporary one out of thin (1/8"?) plywood that I shaved down so it would almost slip in when I lifted it to its highest position in the upper track. Feel inside the tracks with your fingers. Frame screws back out, limiting your space- screw them back in if you can feel them. They sometimes make all the difference in the world in fitting. The plywood has similar flex as the plexi. Hold it all the way up in the frame in the slide open position and the bottom will be just a 1/16-1/8"from the edge. If you do it carefully, the flex allows you to pop it in.It will drop into place. then slide it back and the curve insures it staying in well (mine was the rear one). Trace the plywood before you do it. Leave it in as rain protection until your plexi comes. Send the tracing to American Marine in Florida. Mine was 3/16" to match the glass, and it came in several tints. The green tint matched mine perfectly. The felt edged end guard from the glass one fits the plexi as long as you get the same thickness. Hope this helps. Walter
