Awlgrip maybe a little more money, but a superior product. When i painted out my bilges with Awlgrip it took just one coat of finish using foam brushes. If I was painting the topsides it would be different, but painting bilges, lay it in there good.
I think you will find with the enamels if you use strong cleaner or chemicals it will discolor, where the Awlgrip, Imrons, poly paints, etc. will not.
