I must confess. I used mine twice in 5 years. Both times applying corrosion X so as to make sure they worked incase I ever needed them. I got enough trouble trying to see in the dark prior to going fishing. My boat is on a lift and you have to be sure she's all the way down before you crank your engines other wise impeller time. Opening closed valves that's another accident waiting to happen. I like the keys trick though. Hope the insurance guys don't reads this thread. Had 1.05 " rain early this morning. Good thing I covered all vulnerables under my half raised cockpit deck with heavy plastic. Tight lines ...
