I use to level my 1973 Mako 19, fill the hull with 2" of water and mix in a bottle of soft scrub. Scrub for a while and leave it in for a few hours. Drain it and presto! It looked like new. Of course Bleach might have done the exact same thing but scrubbing was always necessary in the spring.
