In Response To: Seacock Survey (Sean Burlingham)

Sean,

I've been around boats & boaters for over 45 years, professionally for nearly 20 years. Haven't come across the first person yet who closes all, or even any, seacocks when leaving the boat unattended...

Now, I've known of several who left the boat & didn't turn off their dock side water supply, resulting in a sinking.

Hose clamps that may loosen unexpectedly due to CX would almost always be associated with heavy vibration and probably heat, such as a turbo hose.

My guess is that you may win the lottery before you find your guy...

Best regards,

Patrick
