Thanks Bill, thank you all for the warm welcome and responses. Ran the boat this weekend, damn, it is a hyena. I try not to think about it, and don't dare mention it to any of my friends, so let's just keep it to "what happens on the B31 site, stays on the b31 site" if at all possible. After finding the site approx. 2yrs ago, I saw Capt Pat's local address and went and visited. I was amazed at his knowledge and willingness to share it with a complete strange, and a b28 owner to boot. I was also flattered when he took me over to see, if I'm correct, "Buddy Boy" being worked on. I live in North Palm Beach, within 5 miles of that address, and have a mobile marine repair business here, Skyler Marine Inc. I do electrical and mechanical work on mostly inboard boats in the 35+ range, no outboard repair, no I/O's. I have a '73 28 fbc, with '89 crusader 350's which I have owned for about 2 years now. There are some pictures of it on my very simple website, skylermarine.com. A friend set it up, and luckily, business has been so busy, I haven't had the time to put much effort into it (still have to delete that outboard repair part). Sorry to be long winded, just a little background on me. I can't tell you how many times I've blown 4-5 hours just reading what everyone writes to each other. I have picked up many new ideas, and other times, been in stiches on the floor. thanks again, skyler
