They go on a fore & aft shelf that is tabbed to the hul and sits on the outboard stringer, as do the gensets. It's a real easy addition.

The B31 original water tank was glass, 18 gal. and sits on the centerline about a foot forward of the cabin door under the aft salon hatch. Mine is pure original and fills through a big bronze pipe plug on the top. For those of you that have forgotten or don't know the trick to refreshing the water in that tank, just take the plug out of the top and stick your dockside hose in the bottom and let it run for about 5 minutes, overflowing into the bilge and that will change the old water out right now.
