Abandoned Openings

As I clear my B28 of 20 years worth of out dated electronics/antenni/sockets I am finding myself with several useless holes in the dash and bulkheads that I'd like to seal off cleanly. Most are small, less than an inch. What's the best way to seal them? I'm guessing you could find a box of misc/universal press in plugs at Boaters World or Home Depot? I suppose for the smallest (screw size) a carefully applied squirt of 3M 5200 would do.
