Wow. Greg, that is unbelievable.

A couple weeks ago a Providence cop was shot in the station by a suspect who grabbed his gun and shot him with it.

When the guy was hauled into court, he had on a "spit shield" that the police had clearly put on the "suspect" to cover over the sever damage done by the beating the guy took to "subdue" him. His eyes were so swollen and puffed, he could barely open them. The suspect's family was appalled and there is an investigation by the FBI that has begun to evaluate whether the police were too rough on the guy.

Are you kidding? He is alive. He shot a cop. He shot a person. He got the S&*T kicked out of him and deserved every single impact.

Police, while not always ego in check, are humans trying to do a job to protect us. You are right, they are not signing up to be shot.

Now, about the guy who pulled me over and wrote me a ticket for $100 for not using my blinker on 290 last week. I was @ 70 in a 65 zone, and he apparently had a stick up his butt, but that is another story.

That is unbelievable...I hope the guy who wrote that email is skewered, publicly.
