Special Boat

Thought I'd share my latest thoughts with the "Brothers B"
I am the owner of not one but 2 B31's (and a B25). One is very much a project. OK I love em but I confess I've fantasized about bigger more "comfy" boats in the past. I've drooled over the luxurious amenities of the 36 Tiara and thought it might work out better for me as the primary activity me and my family engage in with the boat is weekending. (the 31 can be a little tight -afterall it is really a fishing machine).
Anyway there came a 1988 36 Tiara for sale at a very reasonable price so I went to see it.
In short -they don't age very well! Whereas the Bertram increases in elegance in time the Tiara (and others) look great fresh out of the package but mature rather like cheap women! I'm cured! My Bertram is so much cooler. I'll sweat the close quarters. It is the coolest bestest boat ever built! It's got the lines, the pedigree and heritage, and most of all this board and the brotherhood it engenders.
It I'll be B31 for the rest of my days. So much a better boat than anything else!
