Ian,
ROFLMAO!! Actually I did "mention it", sort of on my bio page. A picture is worth a thousand words... (Gawd, it that me 15 yrs ago?)
Your jeans will survive, but may take a couple of washing before you don't notice any more nanocytes. Also, never wash laundry with fibergalss dust along with anything else. You'll contaminate the whole load and your wife will chasing you with a rolling pin!
If you think you were uncomfortable, wait until she gets a few fiberglass bugs under her bra...
If you have compressed air in your work area, keep youself and clothes blow down frequently. When you remove your clothes, take them out side and shake the remining dust out as best as possible.
Twyvek looks pretty cheap about now, huh? And dedicate some old clothes only for use when doing that sort of work. Keep those expensive Levis for Sunday Go To Meeting.
After a few year around fiberglass ya' hardly even notice it. It gets so damned hot down here that I'd rather put up with the dust than add the layers of clothes.
Even been known to do the grinding wearing only a pair of shorts. Just make sure I'm within reach of a water hose to do a field shower.
Best regards,
Patrick
PS: I will go back and check for omissions on that tips page...
