I shoot the 50/50 on my Cummins white (actually called Cummins gray, for some reason, but it's white) with no adverse effects. There is nothing wrong with using the red straight, but it will leave a stikcy residue for a while that picks up dirt vs. the cut version that won't. The thinner flashes off so quick doubt weekly applications would soften the engine paint. Now a word of caution - the CX will work its way into every hose clamp and you will need to go over the engines, genset, plumbing, shaft logs, etc with a nut driver and tighten up the hose clamps a week or so after you shoot it. It's that good.
