Interestingly, every 31 is slightly different[measure several 31's at any "same" point from center of top chine-spray rail-to center of factory Aluminum rail]. I measured [14] B's no two the same: dev. from 1/4"to 1-1/2", same story through out etc. Rail on stern has arc, corners, if mitered, are a complex angle not 90 degrees, and can vary slighty for each installation. Rail material I got from Bertram, doesn't look like heat and bend to me. It can, however, be primed and painted.
