Need you guys to make some calls

We strive to stay away from political issues here but this latest one will affect us boaters directly.
Most of us depend on NOAA to get our forcasts and the local and internet weather forcasts are just fluff reports. Most can look at upper level wind patterns and determine what's going to happen over the next few days or weeks.
Well this idiot from PA, Sen. Rick Santorum,R, would prohibit federal meteorologists from competing with companies such as AccuWeather and the Weather Channel, which offer their own forecasts through paid services and free ad-supported Web sites.
I've read the bill and as usual, these maggots word it so vague that NOAA could be elimintaed from public use all together except in times were the weather threatens public safety. And thats not even clear.
The reason for this is Accuweather is based out of PA and most likely has thrown some payola into Santorums pocket.
Since we already pay thru taxes for NOAA, we will have no access to it.
Call, fax, write all your elected, corrupt, payola taking, intern banging, lower than snake crap, maggot infested, walking dead officials and let them know that you are against this measure and add.... it will endanger the publics safety and they will be held accountable.
While I'm all for reducing uncle sam to the minimum, this is one area that needs to be left alone.
