After front and side windows removed and cabin front supported by a bottle jack/wood [measure EACH side window space before touching front window], place window blank in and lower jack. At this time the end[s] must be pulled slightly in, as previously described. You will see by how it sits where it needs to be trimmed [check side window space]. Remove blank and be VERY CAREFULL not to trim too much at one time[you don't want to add back!]. Probably had mine in and out at least 30 times and when it's right, it's right. This can't, for me, be a timed event. One other note. When I received the blank it was truck/shipped and although well rapped[not crated] it was damaged, which I had to repair prior to installation. To do the kind of specific damage that was done, the blank had to have played dodge ball with a large crate or two on the way up from Fla. in the trailer. If I lived close to Fla. I would have picked it up myself.
