bruce...even though the area around here has some of the most expensive homes anywhere there are no gated communities or private beaches. i do however have a good security story (or lack of).....two national elections ago one of the candidates came to talk and raise money out here. this candidate happened to be a good and old (childhood) friends' room-mate in college.......i even spent some time with this candidate in the summer of 1969 doing what young and foolish boys do. my childhood friend being recently deceased i thought it would be nice to reminice ...so i go to the fund raiser..pay for general admission with a corporate check so they can't cash it.....walk around back..climb a wall, walk into the VIP area ($10000 + donation to enter) and get on line to have my picture taken with this fellow.....shortly thereafter i'm standing six inches away......security.....right........randall
