So much for security

Most all the new water front developments around here in recent years all have very close to the same name. Tropical this, Harbor that.

I got a new customer that gave me the name of his development to look at some engine problems.
When I get to the guard gate I say as usual, Southeast Marine going to "owners name".

The guard waved me thru and I follow directions and can't find the street name. After wandering around for 10 minutes I head back to the gate to get directions. The guard looks up on the computer and says we have no resident by that name.
But you just waved me thru under that name.
"Well you sounded like you knew where you were going", he said.

I replied, "you got a real good security system going here for these million dollar home residents, keep up the good work.

The right development was two blocks away with a different spelling of the same name.

It's amazing the money people pay for the illusion of services.
