Bulkheads

How many bulkheads are safe to remove from the boat at one time. I have the main bulkhead/partition of a bahia mar removed, and the ones fore and aft of the engines remaining. Can one or both of these be removed or will the hull start to distort because of the lack of support. Boat is on blocks and jack stands.
