28 B Strakes

I am wondering if the 28 B Strakes are glassed on after the fact as the 31 B strakes are? I saw a post/discussion about this on a 26 or 25 and I noticed a small crack on one of mine--up opening it with a dremel--there is a pocket with moisture- Are the strakes added after the hull is molded and recommendations for repair on this?( strake runs bow to aft---crack is perpendicular to this)
