Grand Opening for the new Brewer Street Boatworks!

Yesterday I went up to Portsmouth, RI to pick up my life raft from Life Raft and Survival and as I passed out of the rotary off of the Newport side of Rt. 138, what in heck do I see, but a gleaming new facility with a big sign saying "Brewer Street Boatworks"!!!

Skip Helme and his wife Nancy have a B31 named Wahine and are the people who completed the restoration of Marcene Christofferson's boat Kristy. They have been loyal attendees and supporters of the NE rendezvous, and are fun people.

Brewer St. Boatworks has been growing this year. They now host Bluefin boats, and plan to continue the commisioning and restoration business that they have been successful with in the past, and now have a heck of a facility to accomplish this in!!!

They represent Cummins Diesel, Raymarine, Suzuki outboards, among others. In short they are great people, with great product.

The grand opening for the new facility is April 30th and May 1. They are located as always in Newport, and this new facility is at 222 Connell Highway. If you are in the area, and you want to see the place, think about having some work done by people who are clearly capable, and trustworthy!, stop in and say hi to one of our own. Skip, Nancy and the kids would probably have posted this themselves, but they were to busy sticking stamps and mailing labels to the announcement flyers. It was good to see them yesterday, and the new place is great.
