I installed it the way Mr Holmsey instructed me to. I believe it's very important to take ones time in fitting the unit having no gaps between the window blank and the"deck" and also the "upper roof line"[for even force transfer]. This takes time. In addition to the 5200 I probably have 23 ss lag bolts in the bottom and 3 long lags in the top. When Bill Fritz refinished the exterior he mated the window blank with the deck, leaving no seam on the bottom Across the top there appears to be a single bead of caulk[over the 5200]. Capt. Pat and I have talked about the fact that the port side of the Holmsey window blank has a small kick out in it. thats why it needs to be pulled in until it is fastened and matches up.
