First Splash, Priceless

Getting the port engine's fuel pump to draw from the tank -- 40 minutes. Tracing the starboard engine miss to cylinder #5 -- 10 minutes. Realizing both engines are drawing off the battery -- 30 minutes. Actually connecting the alternator output to something -- 30 minutes. Finding that cracked ground connector -- 30 minutes. Heading out to river for the first time -- Priceless.

It certainly wasn't long before I got a taste of that wet, wild ride. It blew 25-35 all day Friday, maybe more. It was still stirred up pretty good for Sandy Point's maiden voyage on Saturday -- 4 to 5 footers in places. Wow!

Going from a 19-foot bowrider to the Sandy Point, I'm a bit intimidated. I've got a lot to learn, but I'm addicted. What choice to I have?

Chris, thanks to you and your Dad, Priceless' take-outs breath new live into another B31.

Alex
