Nothing including 5200 will stick to starboard or any of those plastic extruded materials like plastic lumber etc. I use 5200 to caulk my bridge console(former stewart made the front in starboard) it lasts about 9 months to a year before it seperates. Starboard must be hot air welded to bond together . No glue will work period, not even the so called espensive glue that is suposed to work. Caulking will hold a water tight seal however with a fastner holding the starboard. Good stuff for backing plates, shelfs, brackets, seat backing etc. Dave K
