B26 Transom Issues

Ok gang, here's my situation. I lay in your hands what steps I should take.
I have a B26 Open Sport convertible. Four or five years ago in Mobile Alabama, the engines and I/O's were pulled and an Armstrong bracket was hung off the stern for twin OB's. The boat is beautiful and my pride and joy.
Today, I had my electrical guy install an automatic bilge switch. During the installation he had to drill a small screw hole into the transom. When he did, he said water started pissing out of the drilled hole.
After just about getting sick to my stomach, I figured I'd go to the source, you guys, for direction.
The boat has not been in the water since last September. I live in Connecticut so had her covered up against the snows.
