If you wreck anchor like I do 4 foot accuracy is a must.I have differential from Both Garmin units and love it. But without the less than 9 foot accuacy you will miss your anchor shot. I have the external antenna mounted on top of the tuna tower console. Even at that when I am traveling at idle past the shrimp docks I loose satellites but never at sea. At sea no problems. Internal antenna will work Ok if you dont have the tower and metal above it like I do. Dave K
