Bruce, that's true for sure, but I went for the pickup tube since both engines are involved. Having twin engines that draw from one tank narrows the odds to a common source.

On the other hand, I applied this same logic to my old B25 years ago and spent a huge amount of time, patience, and money on the tank when it turned out that both engines had vac. leaks in the $3 rubber hoses from the fuel filters to the fuel lift pumps.

We apply the best logic we can to trouble shooting, but there is always a cause. I view it as looking into a funnel - what is the most logical cause, chase that down then if that's not the fix, the go up the funnel, widen your view.

Shoot, that sounded so reasonable and smart I think I'll volunteer to start up the Mechanical Board again and tell the Blubliner folks how to turn the key to start it. Bruce, will you be my co-monitor? Patrick, please let me try it - I'll not cuss them like Bruce used to do, just give good solid advice for $20 a question, payable to the site.
