Agree with Ken. We have seen several with a vertical crack in the fuel pick up tube. The factory made them out of rolled sheet brass with a vertical solder joint from top to bottom, and a crack in that joint in the lower part of the tube would cause exactly your problem, especially since it affects both engines. The tube is easy to pull out, just disconnect the fuel lines and unscrew the big hex fitting on top of the tank and it will come right out.
