I have enjoyed this site for years. I purchased an original condition Bahia Mar 20 about five years ago. After enjoying it for a few summers in South Florida, I elected to repower it with a rebuilt in line six. My rigger, Steve, from Speed and Sport Marine, found six flaws with this rebuilt motor before taking it out of the crate. We elected to return it and go ahead with a new Mercruiser V-8 package. That lead to new stringers, new wiring, new Imron (Thanks to Extreme Finishes), every piece of stainless steel and chrome getting replaced, new guages, electronics, interior, bulkheads, combing pads, teak, mohagany, canvas hard top, outriggers, additional fuel tank, and even a new windshield and frame (Thanks to Bill Cox, the famous outrigger guy). I have enjoyed this boat and the rebuilding process immensely. This "baby bertram" has landed 55 lb bulls and handled seas beyond the scope of one's imagination. The boat turns heads at every dock, in every port , and at every intersection. I subsequently have had two children and my wife is screaming for a 31 or a 35. The 31 would be for the guys and the 35 would be for the family. Regardless, I have to sell my beautifully restored modified classic. It has 200 hours ( I couldnt use it much during the pregnancies), and has been completely gone through again. It would stand up to the highest scrutiny of any Marine Surveyor. Complete with aluminum tandem trailer, over $35,000 invested, I would like to get $20k for it. It shows as if it left the factory yesterday. Please call (954) 401-5808 or email me for more information. Julian954@aol.com
