I was just looking at the post about the 2 x 140 Diesels. I was curious as to what the 4-53 burn at the 17- 18 knot cruise. The size of the engine as compared to the 440's and what the next size up from the 4-53 is.

I'm looking to do a conversion in the future, not so much for speed or economy as much as for added range. Then again I could put in saddle tanks, but not crazy about carring extra gas. Then again saving a few bucks at the pump won't hurt either.
